Katariina Jarvinen is a freelance photographer based in Brighton on the south coast of England. Her photographic interests are many, yet she seems to excel in every area that she puts her heart into.
Her latest passions are wedding and portrait photography. She takes a personal approach to portraits and in an empathic and relaxed way makes sure that she gets the best possible photos of every individual.
At weddings her style is to work unobtrusively while making sure that she captures all important moments beautifully for the couple to cherish for the rest of their lives.
In product photography Katariina is known for her attention to detail, masterful editing skills and attractive compositions that sell the product.
Katariina has also won awards for her landscape and travel photography.

I had Katariina Jarvinen take the photos at my wedding in April 2010. She was there throughout the entire process and took not only the mainstream bride and groom photos with great skill, but a whole host of beautiful and candid moments between bride and groom and importantly, the family and relatives. Discrete and courteous at all times, she adapted herself to our party's style and won the trust of everyone, allowing her to build up an excellent portfolio of high-quality structured and natural photos, ranging from portraits, couples, and group shots through to "action" shots (e.g. with people dancing), and wonderful shots of the landscape around the wedding venue. This all made for a great wedding album which looks like something out of a movie, and we will treasure it for the rest of our lives.
