"Katariina became our photographer quite last minute for our wedding but she came with a very high recommendation. This turned out to be a nice surprise in the end as I could not have asked for a more friendly, professional and relaxed photographer for our wedding on the 16th of July 2011. Katariina arrived right on cue at our venue and took some great relaxed shots prior to the ceremony, capturing some very special moments with my family and bridesmaids. Throughout the ceremony I was almost unaware that she was even there but she took fantastic shots of our vows, a reading by my brother and our guests overall. "One of my biggest concerns about my wedding day, besides fitting into my dress - but that is another story, was my picture being taken. Like many other people, I am very critical of pictures taken of me. I feel I don't have just one bad side, but I have bad sides from most angles! Katariina had taken some shots of us previously, in celebration of our engagement – we used one of the photographs to make into Christmas cards! She discussed ideas about how we wanted things to flow on our wedding day and she made me feel so relaxed and at ease on the day. We also loved her unique ideas for some of the shots after the ceremony, which were so different to wedding photographs that we had seen before. The pictures she took were so lovely I posted lots of them online! I was so proud of them – she managed to totally capture the whole day from start to finish with such finesse. So, how long have you got to hear me sing Katariina's praises? Because I could go on for a while, but I won't. She took consistently gorgeous photographs of me for a whole afternoon, and I love them all so much that I have about twenty of them on my bedroom wall! "I asked Kati to take a set of photos for my new improvisation business website - the brief was to photograph me in a way that was consistent with what my business does - creative, spontaneous, fun, professional. Kati made me feel at ease in the studio and was very patient and relaxed about taking the photos. The outcome of the shoot was a set of around 50 photos, of which I would have been happy to use about 40, which is excellent. PET PORTRAITS"I asked Katariina to photograph our aged Irish Setter as a surprise birthday present for my wife, Lucy. Katariina could not have been more helpful in arranging to meet me and smuggled dog, carrying out the photo shoot in less than ideal circumstances (outdoors in hot weather), sending the best pix for me to choose from, and then providing the framed result.
